In your profile, you will find "Friends" in your "Family" section. It's really easy to invite a friend and you can choose out of three ways to do so:

1. You enter your friend's email address in the "Friends" section of your own profile and click "Invite" or...
   
2. You go to a person's profile in your family tree and click on the link "Invite as friend" below the profile image (This link is only visible when an email address is entered for this person.) or...
   
3. You can add people as friends that you found via the public search (This, of course, only when the person agreed to the option).
   

After you invited a person, an email and a message via the message system will be sent. As soon as the person accepts the invitation, you will be friends and the profiles appear in each other's "Friends" section. In your rights management, you can decide in your "Privacy" options, if you want to receive friendship invitations at all.

Attention: Friends can only see your profile and NOT your family tree!
