New England Genealogical Society has found out that Barack Obama is Brad Pitt’ ninth cousin!

And if that wasn’t enough for a Hollywood story: His democratic rival Hillary Clinton is Pitt’s wife Angelina Jolie’s ninth cousin, too! The two women’s family lines crossed in the early 18th century in Quebec. Edwin Hickman, the connector of both lines, died in 1769 in Virginia.

Hope that this doesn’t mean trouble in Brangelina’s mansion…
